Hi Stevie, My name is Jack Lancaster and I'm a 34 year old mature New Zealander finishing a masters in broadcast journalism. Would you be interested in giving a brief "light hearted" interview for 5 minutes for a radio doco that I'm doing for my masters this week or next? "DOES HIP HOP AND RAP BELONG IN THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME?" He could just say whatever he wants - the ideas are along these lines: Why has Rap and Hip Hop not been accepted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame to any great degree? How does Hip Hop's attitude sit within that of Rock n Roll? What do you say to those who reckon Hip Hop IS the new rock n roll - eg Black Man's music with Eminem the new Elvis making the bridge to white audiences? What reasons would you give for Rap/Hip Hop not being included or being included if that is your opinion? Kind regards,
